Sunrise at the Top of the World

After getting up in the dark at 4:30, by 6:30 a.m. we were at the top of the world, on the tippy top of Mt Evans, just in time to watch the sunrise above the clouds.  It is one of the highest mountains in Colorado at 14,265′. The spectacular view of clouds lit up by the early morning sun stretched before us; one of my favorite views!  How lucky I felt to be able to see it.
